YER v1.0.0 · September 4, 2026
First release of YER, the sidechain ducker that works by frequency — the second paid product alongside the eleven free plugins.
- Make room where it is needed: YER analyses the spectrum of your sidechain and cuts exactly those bands out of the track it sits on — a 32-band cut from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, drawn from the sidechain itself.
- Zero latency: the FFT analysis only listens; the cutting is done by 32 IIR bells. Nothing is delayed, and nothing has to be compensated.
- Volume-independent: the analysis is measured against the sidechain’s own level, so a quiet kick cuts the same shape as a loud one. amount decides how deep, up to 30 dB in a band — only a sidechain quieter than about −36 dBFS is cut back with its own level.
- smooth spreads the cut over neighbouring bands — the comb-filter rattle this kind of plugin is known for is simply not there. freeze holds the curve as a static EQ that your sidechain drew.
- Advanced row: pan, l/r or m/s, attack, release, smooth and sc audition — one click below, and the display stays where it is.
- Trial mode without a time limit: the free download is the complete plugin. Every 45 seconds the effect steps aside for two seconds — in exports as well — and saving your own presets waits for a key.
- 35 €, one price — no introductory offer. No VAT is charged (small business regulation, section 19 German VAT Act). One key, no account, no online activation; YER goes online only to look for a newer version, at most once a day, and that can be switched off.
- VST3 for Windows 10/11 (64 bit), interface in six languages, undo, six factory presets. The details are on the YER page.
the eleven plugins: new look · August 30, 2026
A visual update for the free series — nothing in the audio path.
- A new base colour across all eleven interfaces, and a new mark in the header: quieter, and the same in every plugin.
- Everything else stays where it was: same controls, same presets, same sound.
- The version number deliberately stays v1.0.0. Only the appearance changed, so there is no new version to chase. If you want the new look, install the current download over your existing installation — presets and settings are kept.
v1.0.0 · August 28, 2026
First release of the aysound series.
- Eleven plugins: AyLimiter, AyCompressor, AyEQ, AyDeEsser, AyGate, AyClipper, AySaturator, AyWidth, AyGain, AyDelay and AyVerb — as VST3 for Windows (64 bit).
- The same controls in every plugin: A/B comparison, undo/redo, a help mode with explanations right inside the plugin, click to type in values, double-click to reset to the default, Shift for fine adjustment.
- Factory presets in categories (15–20 per plugin) plus your own presets with save and delete in the preset browser.
- Continuously scalable interface from 75 to 200 % — every plugin permanently remembers its window size.
- One installer for everything: pick exactly the plugins you want during installation, administrator rights required. No account, no activation, no cost.
- Under the hood: true-peak limiting with lookahead, program-dependent compressor release, sample-accurate bypass ramps, constant latencies reported to the DAW.
New versions appear on the downloads page and are documented here.
